Lindsey - Class of 2008

Yesterday was a great day for photos. We began yesterday morning at the old state capitol building. Afterwards we spent a little while at the train station downtown before moving on to the state capitol grounds. Lindsey was a good sport throughout the shoot, and never complained. Having known her for many years now, it was surely a pleasure to be her photographer of choice in marking this event in her life. She is not only a good student, but also is involved with cheerleading and tennis.

Congradulations Lindsey !!! We are all very proud of you.

Graduating from high school is the first major milestone in many of our lives. Senior Photos are a great way to mark the event. Aside from the wonderful enlargements, many seniors send out wallet sized photos to friends and relatives in their graduation invitations. May graduations are right around the corner, so now is the time to get your senior photos done!!!

Who I Am

Today I took a few minutes to try to compose a self portrait. I wanted it to portray something about who I am. Aside from photography my next favorite art is music. Around 8 years ago I began working with the youth group at my church. I was so inspired by the music and those who make it that I made the decision to learn to play guitar. I find it very therapeutic to end a day of work by picking through a few songs before dinner.
This self-portrait combines me, music, and photography into one single image. It is perhaps not your idea of a self-portrait, but for me it works.
What would be included in your self-portrait?
